I'm still getting over a cold right now but I could have definitely used this a few days ago when my head really hurt. Great for pain, fever, and inflammation. This will be great to have on hand for if you get the flu (though you really should get the flu vaccine first), a cold, bad menstrual cramps, arthritis, etc.
Make sure you do take this with food to prevent stomach ulcers, especially if you will be taking this long term. Since this is a PM tablet with diphenhydramine, you'd want to be taking this at night before you head to bed. You might not be eating a full meal at that time so make sure you at least take it with a snack. The diphenhydramine, which is really just a low dose Benadryl, may make you feel dry and groggy in the morning so expect that and drink plenty of water. (If you're sick, you should be keeping yourself hydrated anyways.) Also remember to store it in a cool and dry place. The bathroom is NOT a good idea even if there is a "medicine cabinet" in there. It really isn't; it's a cabinet for your bathroom items like floss, combs, face wash, razors, hair ties, etc. NOT medicine! If you have any medical conditions such as asthma and hypertension, talk with your physician first before taking this over-the-counter meds. If you have any questions, head to your local pharmacy and talk to a friendly pharmacist.
